It's Mother's day weekend and I'm sure quite a few of us are looking for some creative options to celebrate Mother's day. I've heard that creativity is born out of challenges and it's so true! We typically go out for a movie or dinner with family to celebrate mother's day. This time around due to COVID-19, that's not an option and we put our creativity to use. My daughter and I decided to kick-off the weekend in style by pampering ourselves with a DIY hair and face mask. We had so much fun and the best part- it was so simple to make with ingredients at home.
This simple 2 ingredient mask recipe I am going to share is not only easy to make, it also serves 2 purposes of hydrating and nourishing both your lovely locks and face.
Here's what you'll need
1 Tablespoon Amla Powder (if you don't have this, use Yogurt or Honey)
The trick to make a perfect mask is to slice the avocado, remove the pit and blend the ingredients in a blender to make a smooth paste. Believe me, this helps a ton with applying it to your hair and face.
Apply it for about 30 minutes to an hour, wash it off and voila, just like that you have nourished your hair and skin. Give it a try and I promise, you won't be disappointed.
